About the Role

The Architectural Intern will support our architectural team in various design and technical tasks, gaining practical experience in all phases of the architectural process. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to contribute to exciting projects and learn from experienced professionals within a dynamic and growing firm.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist architects in the development of design concepts, schematic designs, and design development drawings under supervision.

  • Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, models, and presentations using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion 3d).

  • Conduct research on materials, building codes, and zoning regulations relevant to projects in India.

  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

  • Participate in site visits and assist with site analysis and documentation (if required).

  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations and project reports.

  • Collaborate effectively with the design team, consultants, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Basic Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized university.

  • Strong design sensibility and a keen interest in contemporary architectural trends and practices.

  • Proficiency in basic drafting software such as AutoCAD.

  • Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp ) is desirable.

  • Basic knowledge of building materials and construction methods.

  • Good visual communication and presentation skills.

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Skills (These are a plus but not always mandatory for an entry-level intern):

  • Familiarity with BIM software, particularly Revit.

  • Experience with graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Knowledge of Indian building codes and standards.

  • Exposure to sustainable design principles.
