About the Role
The Site Manager will be responsible for the overall on-site management and coordination of our architectural and interior design projects, ensuring that construction and installation are executed according to the design intent, specifications, timelines, and budget. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all on-site activities related to architectural and interior design execution.
Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
Develop and maintain site schedules and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Monitor project progress and report regularly to the project architect/interior designer and management.
Conduct regular site meetings with contractors and other stakeholders to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure coordination.
Manage and track materials delivered to the site, ensuring proper storage and utilization.
Implement and enforce site safety regulations and procedures.
Identify and resolve any on-site issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Ensure quality control and conduct regular inspections of the work being done.
Liaise with clients on-site as needed, ensuring their understanding of progress and addressing any concerns.
Manage site documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and material records.
Coordinate with the design team for clarifications or modifications to the design.
Ensure proper handover of the completed site to the client.
Basic Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience of a minimum of 2 years in site management, preferably in architectural and/or interior design projects.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings and specifications.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage site teams.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of site safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with basic computer applications for reporting and communication.
Preferred Skills (These are a plus):
Experience managing both architectural construction and interior fit-out works.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Karnataka.
Experience with project management software.
